About the Program

The MCIF is an intensive, hands-on, Islamic Finance training program that AIFLC offers to specific professional participants. This program brings out specific issues that have to be systematically and comprehensively addressed within the scope of Islamic Finance The MCIF will be offered on a monthly basis throughout the calendar year. This 3 to 5-day intensive program is conducted via an interactive basis, with case studies being the primary medium. The topics identified for MCIF includes inter-alia Risk-Management Issues for Islamic Financial Institutions, Shari’a Audit and Compliance, Shari’a Compliant Derivative Instruments, Islamic Wealth Management , AAOIFI Shari’a Standards, Islamic financial products structuring and innovation, Islamic Capital Market, etc

Background

This intensive program on principles, policies, standards and practice of Shariah in the Islamic financial services industry provides a comprehensive discourse on issues, challenges and best practices of the application of Shariah in the industry. Shariah principles being the core foundation of Islamic finance industry shall be properly and intelligently understood and appreciated by the practitioners.
