About the Program
This two-day workshop will introduce the participants to a complete understanding on the wide spectrum of the essentials of Islamic finance. The IIFW covers the area of Shari’a (Islamic Law), Banking, Capital Market and Risk Management. The program includes a set of pre and post assessment test to ensure the complete understanding is ascertained throughout the course. AIFLC proposes to offer this introductory workshop on a monthly basis throughout the calendar year.
Background
This introductory course on Islamic finance provides the foundations of Islamic Finance concepts and principles with relevant applications to different sectors of the Islamic Financial Services Industry. It provides better understanding for the beginners as well as enable firm grasp of the subject matter to practitioners and professionals in the industry.
Purpose
As a foundation course it provides the substratum for further learning and practice of Islamic finance in the various sectors of the industry.
Who Should Attend?
Professionals, practitioners, regulators, academic, investors, issuers and those who either directly or indirectly interface or involve with Islamic finance.
