The CIMA Certificate in Islamic Finance program is a self study approach which make the program attainable for study across the globe. The certification is awarded by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA), United Kingdom. The program comprises of four study modules which include the Islamic Commercial Law, Islamic Banking and Takaful, Islamic Capital Markets and Instruments and Accounting for Islamic Financial Institutions. CIMA-CIF provides the students the right tools for a thorough knowledge of the theory that underpins Islamic finance. From this base knowledge students will develop practical skills to progress within Islamic finance, as well as understanding the regulations which govern Islamic finance. The certificate in Islamic Finance by CIMA has been developed in partnership with the International Institute of Islamic Finance which is the sister company to Amanie Islamic Finance Learning Centre. |

CIMA CIF Study Modules The CIMA Certificate in Islamic Finance is a self study, distance learning qualification that allows students to progress through at their own pace. There are four compulsory modules: ¨ Islamic commercial law ¨ Banking and Takaful ¨ Islamic capital markets and instruments ¨ Accounting for Islamic financial institutions.
Each module has a study guide, which offers: ¨ a comprehensive syllabus leading to a higher professional qualification in Islamic finance ¨ step by step subject coverage directly linked to specific learning outcomes ¨ fusion between theory and practice ¨ chapter summaries ¨ a contemporary and user friendly glossary of Islamic finance terms ¨ extensive question practice ¨ revision sections for each chapter ¨ a full length mock examination at end of each guide.
CIMA-CIF Final Assessments You will need to pass an electronic final assessment in all four modules to gain the certificate. Each assessment has between 40 and 50 multiple choice questions, depending on the number of assessment criteria in the module. The assessments are computer based and can be taken at CIMA accredited assessment centres throughout the world. |
