AMANIE ISLAMIC FINANCE LEARNING CENTRE DIFC

The WIF is another focused Islamic Finance training program that addresses new or recent developments in the Islamic Finance Industry in a structured manner. The nature of new developments is such that the content is either fluid or raw. AIFLC intends to use the WIF to train the participants on pertinent issues of these developments. Each WIF program is designed to last 2-full working days, with the delivery medium being a mix of seminal as well as interactive basis. AIFLC proposes to offer the WIF on a monthly basis throughout the calendar year.

Background

Takaful Industry began as a consequent to Islamic banking industry and has since evolved in its own mould with the subsequent development of Re-takaful Industry. With increasing sophistication and complexities of risk management of both family and general takaful as well as retro-takaful issues involving facultative and treaty type re-takaful, there is an urgent need for a workshop to deal with specific takaful and re-takaful issues.
